Now that you have gotten your domain name and your web hosting, you need to figure out a way to get content onto your website.
3. Content Management System- The most popular and efficient way to simply "get stuff" on your website is through something called a "Content Management System". Goals & Capabilities- While most candidates running for office will immediately tell their campaign manager that they want a website like President Obama's, it's important to remember that most candidates aren't running for president. You can't rely on your website to accomplish all your campaign goals so keep in mind the following: (1) the office you're running for, (2) the local community, and (3) current issues. By tailoring your website to these three goals while understanding the financial, technical, and staffing constraints that all campaigns face, you can become much more efficient with your Internet presence.
