How to Win Online in 2010
Great article over at TechPresident talking about how candidates can use to the Internet in 2010 to win. The reason this article stands out is because it discusses smaller races that never really considered using the Internet before - which is very relevant when it comes to Staten Island.
While Internet penetration is quite high on Staten Island, not many residents use the Internet for viewing sites such as campaign websites. We're just not that political. In the next election cycle, more Staten Islanders will be online and looking through candidates but it's tough to say how many more. Either way, candidates need to setup an online presence. At the very least, if the voters won't be visiting their websites, they can still get media, publicity and FUNDRAISING and VOLUNTEERS.
